Summary

The aim of the works were to create a modern feeling, light, open plan living, kitchen and dining room. This was achieved by supporting the original cavity walls on a series of steel beams, which were supported centrally by a circular steel post. This was seamlessly worked into the kitchen layout to create an attractive, practical space.
