Founded in 2021 Sweet Structures Ltd is an engineering consultancy based in Exeter offering structural engineering services for a wide range of projects in the South West and the UK.  We work across many sectors with a range of clients. We are an approachable team providing a personalised and quality service tailored to the needs of your project.

We understand that every project is unique, and we keep this at the forefront of our approach. We focus on the individual clients needs, and whether you are building a small extension, or undertaking a large commercial development, we aim to offer a bespoke and personal service.

​Adam Sweet 
​Director

Adam started his career working for in 2009 working for a specialist concrete designer in Leeds. During his time at the company he worked on major multistorey projects around the UK, from high-rise towers, university buildings, offices, apartment and student residential developments. Upon moving to Devon Adam joined a local company working on local educational buildings, in addition to commercial and residential developments. In 2021 he started Sweet Structures and has grown a small team working in Devon and the South West predominantly.

​Barbara Zorzi
​Senior Structural Engineer

Barbara joined the company in early 2022 and brings with her a strong, diverse technical background. Having trained in Italy working on a variety of projects across Italy and Africa she is able to provide a fresh perspective on engineering challenges. She loves finding innovative solutions to simplify complex engineering challenges.

​Drew Finnigan
Structural Engineer

Drew joined the company in late 2022 having completed an undergraduate degree in engineering. He has worked at a Devon-based consultancy for a year, where he learnt the importance of communication of design through providing clear drawings. Drew’s passion is working on bespoke housing projects from new build to reconfiguration of existing buildings.
